Hi! I'm Neeta (short for Anita) - founder of The Craftary. I started this business in 2020 after many years of family and friends encouraging me to share my creativity with others. This is my happy place. I love to make pretty things and I love sharing all of my creativity with you so you can experience the joy of creating too. Creating is the best kind of therapy.
I have been a wife to my handsome, hardworking, and very supportive hubby for nineteen years, mom to five grown-ups, and grammy to three sweet grandbabies. I'm from southern California but move to central Arkansas in 2017. Just a slight culture shock, but we are adapting well.
I am a former stay-at-home mom, now an empty nester enjoying the time I have to create and design products just for you. I am totally into instant gratification and all things DIY. I am also a "play it by ear" kind of gal, always with a million things going on, but I tend to make the time when I'm needed.
My hubby is a pretty handy guy and we enjoy working on projects together. Sometimes we'll be up till the wee hours of the morning because we've lost track of time. The laughter we create with each other in the middle of our projects in the middle of the night (or anytime, really) is so very priceless.
While I blog mainly about crafting, you'll really find a wide range of creative ideas here... From products we create and sell, crafts, home decor, and so much more.
