DIY Body Scrubs

Branding - The Craftary Dots

Sugar scrubs are formulated with sugar granules, which are used to help physically exfoliate dead skin cell buildup. Exfoliating with a sugar scrub can help create the appearance of smoother, glowing skin. Generally, exfoliating with a sugar scrub every day isn't necessary - think of it as a treat for your skin that you would use a few times a week.

Benefits:

  • Removes buildup - Using a sugar scrub to clear away dead skin build-up can help kick start most of the other benefits in this list.

  • Encourages skin rejuvenation - Exfoliating and removing dead skin cells encourages healthy rejuvenation of our skin making it look soft and smooth.

  • Unclogs pores - Clearing dead cells with a sugar scrub is essential for unclogging pores, preventing breakouts, and cleansing your skin.

  • Promotes circulation - Scrubs help promote blood circulation to keep skin looking healthy and retain elasticity.

YL tip: Start with fewer drops and add more as desired. You can always add a little more, but you can’t take any out.

Always combine essential oils with a carrier oil

To help the essential oils dilute and disperse, combine them with carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil, jojoba oil, or V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex.
